Just one of the amazing living bridges made from tree roots in Cherrapunji, India. The root bridges aren’t made, they’re grown. The War-Khasis, a tribe in Meghalaya, saw the potential of the hardy Rubber trees as a way of making a path across rivers and developed the process.
