I cried over beautiful things knowing no beautiful thing lasts.
The field of cornflower yellow is a scarf at the neck of the copper sunburned woman, the mother of the year, the taker of seeds.
The northwest wind comes and the yellow is torn full of holes, new beautiful things come in the first spit of snow on the northwest wind, and the old things go, not one lasts

The ivy still clings to the trellis in my garden, but the leaves are rusted and skeletonized, the berries withered with the cold…if you peer closely or enlarge the view, you will see the trellis beneath the leaves in this October Abstract…Watercolour on Arches Not Paper

I paint in many different styles and feature a myriad of subject matter, which I show as individual collections….
I am inspired by the world interpreting it in brilliant colours, often influenced by the writings of famous authors and poets..

Love all the fall inspired work, and beautiful colors and surface textures. It’s my favorite season. Even when we lived in cold northern states, I liked fall best! Here, it means several blessed months of relief from heat, so it’s especially welcome.

  • Thank you so much Cindy…for colour it’s my favourite season too…great inspiration every day…
