Soft syllables, gentle names for the two best months
in the garden year: cool, misty mornings gently burned away with a
warming spring sun, followed by breezy afternoons and chilly nights.
The discussion of philosophy is over; it’s time for work to begin
…..Peter Loewer

This Still Life was originally painted by me some years ago titled “The Potting Shed”…it’s part of a collection of large works I sell as originals only, and rarely post online….in 2008 I posted just a section of it to sell as cards etc….
I recently deleted it as I felt I needed to do justice to the entire painting…
I decided that it needed to be redone, then reshot and reposted in it’s entirety…so here it is…light pouring through the window of the potting shed, the terracotta pots waiting in the semi darkness to be filled with earth and new summer plants
….

Part of the Spring Gallery of works in Gouache and Watercolour on Grey St Armand Linen Paper with Collaged Mesh Cloth…View large for better impact…

I paint in many different styles and feature a myriad of subject matter, which I show as individual collections….
I am inspired by the world interpreting it in brilliant colours, often influenced by the writings of famous authors and poets..
