One of the terrifying things about winter is it’s treachery…it’s false appearance of innocence…those fluffy white clouds of snow piled around each tree, on the sidewalks and streets, hiding untold sheets of black and white ice lying in wait for unsuspecting passersby..
Near the river where the water has not yet completely frozen over, the colours of green and blue mingle with the cloud white creating indescribable beauty…we can forgive the treachery then…Janis
