Still from the North it comes,

Whispering, settling, sifting through the trees,
Overloading branch and twig. The road is lost.
Clearing and meadow, stream and ice-bound pond
Are made once more a trackless wilderness
In the white hush where not a creature stirs

I am inspired by the world interpreting it in brilliant colours, often influenced by the writings of famous authors and poets..

Another killer COLD One! What size are these Janis?

  • Thanks so much Randy…they are usually 11×14..I paint wet in wet alla prima, so no going back, no second thoughts are possible once I lay down the colour…. I paint the whole area at once so I have to keep them at a workable size… some are a lot larger though…
