Norcombe Hill….was one of the spots which suggest to a passer-by that

he is in the presence of a shape approaching the indestructible as nearly as any to be found on earth.
It was a featureless convexity of chalk and soil… an ordinary specimen of those smoothly- outlined protuberances of the globe which may remain undisturbed on some great day of confusion, when far grander heights and dizzy granite precipices topple down

I paint in many different styles and feature a myriad of subject matter, which I show as individual collections….
I am inspired by the world interpreting it in brilliant colours, often influenced by the writings of famous authors and poets..

it’s almost like that stunning land is nestled in a wonderful rolling valley with a sheer drop at the viewers edge….always spectacular views and lights…..glorious work

  • I think I’m making Hardy’s landscapes a little more human than he wants us to believe, but I’m happy with the way the series is turning out…thank you so much Tahnja…
