Page 5 from the Pear Journal (see below), is in watercolour and pastel, created to give a fresco feeling…I added the shallot to provide some balance and wit to the piece along with the signatures of famous artists at the top left…

Love this…you have a way of making these pairs seem as though they have personality and are very ‘present’…that’s amazing Janis! Love the image that says ‘peeling away the layers’ I feel just like that in my life right now….I really love how that stood out to me…really needed to be reminded of that today
