It’s a treasure….a really ripe, juicy one from Pusateri where I shop every week….
This Mango is the most popular variety in Trinidad because of its rich, sweet, lush coconut/pineapple-like flavor. Eat it soon after buying to avoid it becoming over ripe.
I painted it as if cradled in soft swirls of colour, gently at rest, with a “do not disturb sign”, if not shown, at least implied.
