The Poppy Journals...Gold Dust by

For a while the group continued to stand rooted in dismay at the news that Prof. Olive had disappeared…
James was the first to recover…moving over to the table where the journals were piled in a heap he stated..
“Well we are on our own now…this is obviously much bigger that we had thought initially…we will have to proceed cautiously”
Turning to the group again, and looking pointedly at Liza, he said “and no chattering to anyone…get it?…this is to remain a secret among us…a secret”
Since he was the only one she ever listened to Liza nodded mutely..
“Well now, lets see…we have opened six journals and there are several more here…lets go ahead and open them all and see if we can find anything that ties them together besides the Poppies”…
But as he slowly opened page 70, there was a gasp of surprise…the entire group moved as one towards the table…it was true….the page was covered with gold dust…real gold dust

I paint in many different styles and feature a myriad of subject matter, which I show as individual collections….
I am inspired by the world interpreting it in brilliant colours, often influenced by the writings of famous authors and poets..
