The belief that man and nature are inextricably bound together…an interpretation of the nature that is almost mystical… trees in the landscape stand mute…indistinct amorphous shapes, fog, distance, a loss of self, luminousity, night over day and a general feeling of nostalgia pervades art during the era…
I say pay homage, because I don’t want to be slavish…we live in different times and our influences are different, however it is because of those very times that we live in that I feel that we must again become romanticized…we have become hard and’s time to find ourselves again
