This is the latest in the “Delicious” Collection…not as decadent as some of the others, (or maybe it is) but here it is deliciously warm from the oven, drizzled with the sauce…serve with some cold creme fraiche on the side, or even ice cream…
I have also served it with Greek yoghurt…it has to be Greek, as it is undoubtedly the best yoghurt in the world, which when topped with a great honey, (also Greek, if you can get it), is wonderful on your breakfast oatmeal, or even on it’s own as a snack…

oo yummy, you mentioned before you can’t eat fruit Janis? that must be so hard at times … this looks sooo delicious, wonderful work! i’m sooo hungry again now! i need a snack :)
I can sometimes eat a little bit if it is cooked, but that’s it, and I will have to wait a few days before I can do that again…so I never do…I’m glad you like this one…thanks you so much Karin…

oh wonderful this will go just lovely with that salad we just had….what a fabulous close up shot of this one Janis…I can see the texture in the sauce dribbling down the side….I love the way you achieve your white highlights and the way you get your work to shine…also the shadow on the plate caught my eye …love this one!
I got carried away and painted the bowl…I prefer to let the background be hazy, but I just went on and on, hoping that it would not look too real inthe end…I tried to use the same sort of bowl as in the original recipe, and it’s the original stalk as my pear did not have much of a one…I have so much china, I could open a shop…years of antiquing…
The dribbles were a bit tricky as I let the paint go and hoped for the best, and stopping it before it got out of hand…I always paint on an easel, so I am used to paint running down the page…Thanks so much Linda, for your support…I really appreciate it.

looks so delish.and I love the plate…………..
Oh dear and I always want to play down the background….glad you like it…thanks so much KJ…

O Janis…………sometimes the background is the key………….but what do I know………
I don’t want the background to play much of a role with these images, that why it’s so vague most of the time…. but because this one is sitting in a sauce, I decided to define the bowl…these are not classic still lifes, but more like portraits…
