I’m really pleased to see that my painting is in the Spotlight and that I am also named as featured member in the group, Berries Fruit and Seeds.

Tomatoes

The street
filled with tomatoes,
midday,
summer,
light is
halved
like
a
tomato,
its juice
runs
through the streets

It enters at lunchtime,
takes
its ease
on countertops,
among glasses,
butter dishes,
blue saltcellars.
It sheds
its own light,
