I Am Really Pleased with this Feature

I am really pleased with this feature…I intended this painting to be very simple…like a haiku poem it says much in a few lines…heavy tree trunks and lots of leaves would be totally inappropriate here… I included the complexity of the veil to add the sense of something more awesome on the way…winter…Live Love Dream recognized this and featured it…how wonderful!!!

End of the Season

There is a sense of mourning in Autumn.
The last fiery color before the cold and gray
when Autumn reaches out to those around her,
desperate to connect
before the veil comes down—
before everything changes
and she is
alone.

Well it’s only my own poetry some of the time…it’s mostly other peoples work, but yes I agree that because I read so much of it, I am able to place it with my paintings successfully…you will see who it is on the original page…but what a lovely compliment Neo…thank you so much… :)))
