As I painted this face, I thought “this is the girl on the subway”..don’t quite know why, but after posting the painting, I still think so...

wow, this is gorgeous… it reminds me of myself a bit (not that i’m gorgeous hahaha)... just the brown eyes n the way she wears that expression, and the lippy of course, i really love the waffle like background.. I’m working on a piece (large one) that has some texture in areas, it requires fine work, but it’s very satisfying…I love this effect you get… beautiful golden background really sets off her features x
