There is a saying in the islands that goes”mouth open story jump out”..is this one of those times?
I prefer not to make the paintings too photo real, so I paint parts of them in a more abstract way…I decided today that I would just suggest a full head of red hair…I keep looking at the original propped up in the studio….she is a pretty young woman…thanks so much Jim…

Thank you so much Linda…sorry, but I just found your comment…it was fabulous news from the critic, but her choices surprised me a lot…she really loved them all but the ones that stood out for her were The Quiet, The Wish and The Night, among others…she has put me on to a few galleries…I just have to put together a promo folder, which takes time…

I remember when I first started watching you, you had Chinese style paintings, then you had a series of fruits from the market, then there were the very vibrant watercolour scenery/flowers; maybe a few other things (and more while I got busy), and now portraits!
