I used to paint these types of still lifes many years ago, and I am gradually returning to them now….Love that you called me “girl” in your comment, though I haven’t been one for a very long time… :))) thanks so much Bev…

I am moving in another direction now, and going back to what I feel is a strong call to the work I did in the 90s…I am taking down a lot of my pages here and paring back the site in general…There is not a lot of time left and what there is has to be well spent in creating the kind of art I really want to do…thank you so much for the lovely compliment Linda…

I was just told yesterday about a world famous painter, still living, who has made painting tools the main focus of his work…here I thought I was the only one… :)))
I started painting tools in the 90s and gave it up for more traditional subjects, but I have now returned to them…
