Thanks so much Joanne…they are Zaboca, [see note above] which is a name for avocado in the Caribbean…the kind you get here are smal pear shaped ones…these are roundish until they get bigger and then they will be more elongated…I have painted them from below, so they look more rounded…because we are in colder weather now, I made them a little frosty, and it’s also a metaphor for aging, but still “ripe for the picking” as my little haiku states…
