I have not seen a frangipani in real life for many years, and when Catherine asked for it, I thought I don’t usually paint white, but then I remembered the gorgeous scent coming through the windows at night when I was growing up…it seemed to me that the painting should reflect that voluptous fragrance, so instead of doing a detailed tight style, I let the paint flow, even running off the paper at times….I’m so pleased you like it Linda…thanks so much. On my bubble site the light coming through the petals glows even more…
