We practice avoidance this morning;
a marriage of papery faces nods in the sun
ox-blood, pearl and the pink-throated one,
their enviable tongues already discovered by the bees.

Yes it’s a semi- abstract of the remembered vision of the woman in the story…she remembers the bent grass after the rain that night…a poignant moment in her life…I will have to write more of her story and do paintings to match…I’m so glad you like it Linda…thank so much.
