Stunning! Very beautiful Janis. I’m so impressed with your organization as an artist. I’m the poster child for the typical artist where creativity and organization don’t mix. I keep every thing, but it’s all in a large floor to ceiling cabinet. I mean it’s just in there. LOL

I think I was born with an organizer in one hand and a pen in the other…LOL…I keep everything written and safe somewhere in a file…then I don’t have to think about them again…
My studio is stocked like an art supply store, with every type of art and craft material under the sun, so I have to keep it all very organized otherwise I’d never find anything…thank goodness for stores like Ikea and Solutions..they have saved my life…

They are real leaves that are skeletonized…I collect and press them, ready for any art I might do…you can only get them in late fall, and you have to go for long walks and look through the fallen leaves to the bottom, then press them in a flower press or even a large phone book…glad you like my Journal page Karin…

o wow I do like this one Janis. I used to collect autumn leaves and press them years ago living further down south. Our city is sub tropical so we don’t see a lot of them here. Your colours are great and yes most of us need a room for ourselves as artists and lots of space but if not, then we need loads of storage boxes.

Thank you Gloria…I had a young carpenter make me a number of flower presses, so I can press a variety of flowers and leaves at the same time…I also dry them whole in dessicant or in my electric dryer…you never can tell when you might need them for an art piece…
