Semi-Abstract Watercolour on textured Arches Paper….then masked before paint was poured on wet paper, and textured again till the effect I wanted was achieved…

Thank you Alison…the idea was to give an abstract impression of the Irises with some movement around them, hence the texture…

Thanks so much Jim…I am trying to keep up with the goal I set myself which is to paint every day….since I joined here I have continued to paint right into summer [a first for me]....I thought it would be too hard, but its been raining a lot and that has been making it easier to stay in the studio…
