“Hosta 3 Carnavale”is part of the Series “Hosta”

This is the third in the series of Hosta paintings….I have a large number of different species of Hosta in my gardens, and I plan to do a set of paintings in different styles, hopefully before the hot weather hits in July..
June is wonderful in the garden…the weather is blissfully cool and I spend everyday as many hours as I can spare, grubbing about in the earth, planting, transplanting, and moving things about as the spirit moves me..

The Hydrangeas promise to be fabulous this summer…the hard winter did not kill the buds as I had feared, and I am looking forward to masses of lovely blooms next month… Janis
