The hauntingly beautiful sound of the loon, as I look up at the sky,
tells the mystery of my dreams, with his heart-felt cry.
The starry night above me sings, as my heart dances with a star.
With my spirit I fly with wings, and travel wide and far.

Each night I’m filled with pleasure, as fragrance fills the air,
looking up to the stars, wishing I was there.
This is how the night time goes, the stars, the sounds, the sight,

the cyan and prussian blue sky with dabs of orange and lilac set the tone the birds generate a sweet flow the earth tone land mass fill the space along with the trees in a aquamarine sea of calmness ….................stunning

just as the light is closing out, and the warm glow of the sun cools to usher in the night, the pines stretch upward to the sky, basking in the suns setting embers….and the waters, calm and still, gently lap the land, whispering their nomadic songs….

Thank you Robin…up there it’s just the haunting sound of the loon and not much else…except a whole lot more bush which I left out….this is from a photo taken many years ago….it’s an area that’s popular with painters as well, so it’s been painted many times..

Thanks Alison…if I had used the regular daytime colours of soft blues and greens, it would not have had the same impact as the rich saturated colours I prefer to use…it’s also the connotation the colours have for each viewer…
