Paper Moons.

Paper moons dancing above our heads
can we see them beckoning
turning slowly
do we make them?
spin around
gently
on tender loving fingers
gently pressing in place
their loving glow.

Please say we made them
so we can see more
how they spin around.

Touch them now
I bet we could
press them in place
like singing ballerinas pirouette,
paper moons dancing above our heads
so gentle they lay still.
