Much of ado making this, 2nd day working it decided to nip out for a while to the shop leaving the work on my screen. When I arrived back had forgotten my key’s to my flat (locked out). Dashed to my studio for break in tools, arrived back with tools in hand and set about breaking in to my own flat.
Solid front door facing busy city street loads of people passing.
Started banging a strip of metal into side near lock hoping to open door, metal gets stuck, try with both hands to wiggle out the metal strip – kinda slip & fall gashing my left thumb top part about two inches below the nail – on the metal stip – really deep cut.
Standing there tools on the floor, left hand bleeding, metal sticking out of the door frame, freezing cold and still locked out, people passing and staring rathger strangely.
Right! Two right booted foot full force kicks flys open my door, hand dripping blood spend twenty mins mending the dam thing..
Then decide to cycle off one handed to the hospital as the gash was rather painful.
Get to hospital see nurse after 15mins & wait 4 hours to be seen by the doc, not to bad as a wide screen tv on the wall, not having one myself find it delightful.Gash clotted painful clean out and new age super glue stick together with cover to stop me bending the thumb. Cycle home and finish the above image..
Don’t advise working from home anymore.
