Hi Shilohlin. You know those carved out holes in trees? I was always told that they are the homes of tree fairies and sprites. They are shy and that is why you do not often see them … but sometimes you do. They are that flash of light that makes you look twice! REALLY!

I believe too … There are spirits who we may not see until we are very still and open. Look into a forest just after the sun goes down … stare into it for awhile. Soon you WILL begin to see and think that you eyes are playing tricks but they are not. I did this with Grandmother Pathweaver, my native american teacher … it was amazing! There are faces in the trees.
