from the pain I exposed
ignored once again
is just how it goes
watching the dog get
the love I deserve
this prison sentence
how long shall I serve
oh God in heaven
free me from this
like Joseph and Moses
rescue post hence
they don’t even love me
yet keep me locked in
to service their ego
and appearance keeping
I drown all my sorrows
in vodka and juice
to cry once again
and yet it’s no use
the days have collected
to lonely long years
with passions neglected
a sea of lost tears
I tire of this sunset
I pray for the dawn
refreshing new breezes
of love that lasts long
