Chasing a Dragon

Hooked on a feeling,I stare at the ceiling,
My phone’s not ringing, I’m just thinking,
All control I’m losing, life is confusing,
Look out my window,no,it’s not there.
Spread my wings,wreathed in smoke.
Hooked on a feeling,it seemed so appealing,
What’s the harm in trying, maybe the risk of dying?
The room is spinning, soul meant for sinning,
Look out my window,it’s still not there.
Spread my wings,wreathed in smoke.
All my life looking for the answer,
All my life I’ve been asking,
No closer to the truth,
I’m left chasing the dragon.
So high in the sky,
Lord I want to fly,
Chasing a dragon, never going to die.
