My Mum has a Bum!
Another poem for all the weird and quirky big and little kids out there!
I hope you enjoy this selection of beautiful bums courtesy of the brilliant Karin Taylor

My Mum has a Bum! belongs to the following groups:
All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical, Art and Stories Made For Children, Childhood, Humour Captured and The Word TreeI hope you’re sitting down now
Cos I think you’ll be quite shocked
For only just this morning
My whole world was rocked!
I was walking down the hallway
When suddenly I saw
My Mum was getting changed
And she hadn’t closed the door!
I didn’t know she had one
There it was as plain as day
A big and round and white one
And it was pointing right my way!
Could it mean that she’s got other things
That you and I have got?
Perhaps she has a belly button
Goodness, she might even have snot!
Maybe she is just like me
What secrets could be found?
Maybe she plays with our dolls and cars
When we are not around!
You must never tell a single soul
This is as far as it can go
Yes, my Mum may have a bum
But Dad never needs to know!
Anne van Alkemade
