This aircraft, acquired from H.M.A.S Albatross Nowra. Designed and built in Britain during 1941 as World War II Naval Reconnaissance aircraft.
Saw active service on H.M.A.S. Sydney in Korea
2245 H.P. Rolls Royce Griffon 12 Cylinder Liquid Cooled Engine. Max Speed 386 M.P.H
Donated by citizens of Griffith as a memorial to our airmen…”
