Wow Ozczecho, this is one of the most stunning photos I have seen. For some reason this really strikes a cord with me. It reminds me of the quite times I have had when on vacation.

I took this earlier this year while on Holiday to Koh Samui (a beautiful place btw). Woke up really early, way too early as I misjudged the time for a sunrise. This shot is taken at a point where on one side of the beach you can see east and watch the sunrise and basically just turn around and face west and watch the moon set. At this point the resort was abandoned, hence the chair. I only moved it slightly to improve the composition.

So while waiting for the sunrise I took a few shots of the full moon setting….

Really excellent shot ozczecho. This could easily hang at a number of galleries with a nice big white mat and a title underneath. The effect is calming, and the detail in the chair compared to the smooth background makes it really sit “in front” of the scene. Well done!

just to add to that…we used to sit on the beach on Samui in the full moon and sing Van Morrison’s “Moondance”...thanks for bringing that back to life with this image!!

I love this image – makes me want to sit on that chair and enjoy the peacefulness. I can almost hear it, with just the slight swish of water lapping at the beach. Lovely composition with the chair placed perfectly in a “watching-the-moon” position.
