North Head
The light was changing every minute. I climbed over some huge rocks to get into a great position to take some surfing shots, when suddenly this huge cloud covered up the sun. Suddenly the beautiful light illuminating the waves the surfers were riding was gone. I looked to my left and noticed the light here. Quickly, I grabbed my stuff and setup this shot…..only got one frame, because soon after this the light here was also gone.

This is an exquisite composition and exposure; with beautiful sidelighting, and perfect depth-of-field. Wow…just came back from a short weeks break and see these great comments…thank you everyone.
Hinting…I think its a 50-50 decision. I had a look at how the image looks minus 1/6th and there is very little in it…..I like how the bottom rock leads the eye into the picture. You still have part of the rock if the suggested crop is applied but it isn’t as effective IMHO….
