Stuart – thanks….it actually did end up being a very warm day. Thats the only problem with going early to the beach with all the camera gear…where to put all the stuff to go for a quick swim at the end ;-)

So calm and beautiful.
There is something special about the sea. I live by the sea, and have done so all my life. Spending time inland always gives me the feeling of slowly being suffocated, and I need to make for the coast. Not even lakes can satisfy my need for open space, salty water and the smell of eternally rotting seaweed and fish.
This picture though might have made such a inland stay a bit more bearable if it was really necessary. I wold have plastered it all over my wall.
You see it is beautiful, and you can nearly smell the coast :-)

Just checked it out on google earth and it looks cool there appear to be two pool one eith end of the beach. I like the look of the one to the end furthest awy from sydney lots of rock and crashing waves. It looks like this could be our first stop on the way out of Sydney.
