It rings a bell! It connects. It's not only for the young!! We were young, not long ago!
Life has placed me in a south-western Sydney suburb, where I “don’t get out much any more” but taking the plunge and ordering a ticket for ” cheap night ” Tuesday, gave me a taste, again, of relaxing in our city of sydney.

Cameron Bates took this picture of Sophie Cleary, being Belle, in Belle’s Line, at the Old Fitzroy Theatre, in Woolloomooloo.
I almost resent the idea that this comedy, with its heart-string-touches, is most likely identified with by young women needing to choose between love and career, today.
I am 65 (only recently! Did you see my Bubble pages about my exhibition?) and I connected.
I laughed.
I identified.
I recognised situations and people whom I’d known in the late 70s, going through this.
I was so pleased today to find that a fellow DACC board member, who happens to be very much part of the acting scene/fraternity, could not get a ticket on Tuesday night, as the theatre was booked out.
That means that a lot of people who take the time to visit the Old Fitzroy Theatre are having a laugh and spending a few hours, in our busy city, relaxing and enjoying themselves!
