Ambition, love and the seemingly irreconcilable difference between the two.

They grow up so fast!!

One of these people is the producer of a play. The other a sound engineer and the third a retired school teacher, turned artist!

O.K.. A clue: the retired school teacher is a bit older than the other two!

She is producing a black comedy, set against a haunting Blue Mountains backdrop, which is claimed to remind us that the things that hold us together can also tear us apart.

It’s called Belle’s Line and is a new Australian play written by Tamara Asmar (Ninja, Subur) and directed by Alan Flower (School of Night, Amco Riders).

Yep. The sound engineer is looking after the sound.

Gosh! After my week at the Tap Gallery and now their stint in Woolloomooloo , it feels as though it’s still the city of Sydney where it’s all happening.

So, go and support this theatre and enjoy a diverse and delightful season of plays and help young Australian performers, writers, designers, technicians and directors to grow and develop and make some fathers proud!!

Here’s to the young producer….

......
and the young man, in charge of the sound!!

You have a lot to be proud of Jo. What a wonderful family you have.

Thank you, Sooz. Their mother’s i.q.. My artistic bent _ …......
As I wrote about that, naturally my mind went back to my daughter being on stage, in Year Six, as Mrs Potivar,(spelling?) and, two years later, my son, singing: _Tomorrow
    , in Bugsy Malone. :)

Thank you, Mawaho. They’re doing all the right things. They’re a great team but also go their own way.
