What to do with the Dutch Australian heritage?

Calling on all Dutch-Australians, particularly, in NSW, to consider this question, put, in 2001, to the Netherlands Society in Sydney member, who gathered to hear a speech by the then consul-general of the Netherlands, Mr Ed J. Reitsma.

Thank you, Redbubble.
This is still a place, where I feel motivated and free to express my feelings and thoughts and believe that I can expect a sympathetic and positive response to my works of art and my writing.
I hope this is the beginning of a work in progress and that I shall be able to share it, as I write it, and build on any feed-back.

The building which housed the contents representing our Dutch Australian heritage, is currently being converted into offices and that contents is currently located, in Holland House, behind the Dutch Shop, in Smithfield, Sydney.
What to do with this _heritage- is not a new question.
On May 14, 2001, the then Consul-General of the Netherlands, Mr Ed J. Reitsma, delivered a most comprehensive outline of the situation, in a speech to the Netherlands Society, in Sydney.
It is this speech, which I would like to tell you about and comment on and use as an invitation for your input.

ONLY A DRAFT introduction, so far …. MUCH MORE TO BE WRITTEN YET!
