In 1992, I walked all the way to the end of Conjola Beach, on a balmy, warm summer’s day and rested near the next headland. Way in the distance, a couple stripped off and ran into the surf. The urge to skinny-dip and cool off was easily fixed. After that I joined the ANF Supporters Group and then member and then vice president of the (now defunct) Free Beach Association of NSW and currently look after the website of a clothes-optional retreat.
The current painting that I am working on is based on a photo taken down in the valley, beside the Wollondilly River and on a photo, taken on the way to the retreat.
