On the program was the “Rembrandt wall” being unveiled, as well as the Dirk van de Lindt memorial wall. (_Dirk was much loved by Rembrandt Dutch Club members – particularly those who benefitted from his knowledge and skills, as their teacher of art.)

The exhibition was part of the Rembrandt van Rijn’s birthday celebrations, including choirs singing and the band-Tonys, playing music until the last person left the building!!!
Rembrandt would have enjoyed his 404th birthday party, in western Sydney, Australia!!

17 and 18 July, 2010, the Dutch Club, in St Marys, called Dutch Club St Marys Limited, celebrated, once again, Rembrandt’s birthday.

I cannot mention often enough, how much I admire the enthusiasm, hard work and organisational skills, of those dedicated Dutch_Australians, like the people who run the Rembrandt Club, in St Marys, the D.A.S.I. Club in Wonoona and the Concordia Club, in Newcastle, as well as the Neerlandia Club, in Frenchs Forest, who, through all sorts of functions and activities enable Dutch-Australians, first, second and third-generation, to meet up for entertainment, fun, and sharing experiences, past and present.
Old Mr Grace would say: You have all done, very well.
This is old Mr Mul(holland) saying: You are all doing very well!
