Thoroughly enjoyed being a primary school teacher, for 37 years. (Did I please everyone? Perhaps not but did my best.) After all, that’s why my parents migrated to Australia, to give me a better future).
I have an orange wall. In the 70s, I thought that would look a little flower-power-ish!
Never had any reason to change it. (Needed to cut ‘n paste a bit to show here.)
By the way, the only award, there, that’s not mine, is my father’s present, given to him when we migrated (1956), by fellow union-members, with whom he had acted in a play. The plate says:Strength for new deeds. Yes. It has fallen down. But it’s strong!
