Artist's Description

Tonight, on the Can We Help T.V. program, I heard the explanation for the expression: Murphy’s Law.
Rather than originating in Ireland, as I’d thought, it came from the U.S.A..
I quote it often.
When Creativity Corner’s theme was Contrasts, as soon as I read it, I though of the picture (slide) which my mother had taken, in Paris, in 1964.
She was struck by the contrast between the woman sleeping, in the door-way of a shop selling all sorts of expensive items.
**********
When I tried to find the slide, no luck. Tonight, there it was, in a very logical place! Thanks, Murphy!
.
Meanwhile, my thoughts are back in the Netherlands. Gouda, in fact.
