Chip, the duck.
I’ve decided to name my rubber ducky: “Chip”.
.
Thanks mbShirts for the photo and the t-shirt design. (As you know, it’s not only his Dutch background but also that phrase, that a lecturer in the Art Teachers Conversion Course, held in the 70s, in the Old Sydney Tech, that attracted me to the design: _The chairiness of chairs, he liked to talk about. In other words, van Gogh’s representation of the chair, its comfort, its ‘personality’, was according to him the best.
(My daughter saw me wearing it last night and wondered whether, wearing a van Gogh painting on your t-shirt, WITH a rubber ducky on it, was legal. But then, I’ve been wearing Vincent’s head, on another t-shirt, given to me by an American couple, to whom I showed my Sydney, for quite a few years.)

Sorry Ozcloggie you’re not wearing a van Gogh, just my appropriation of his work as a linocut with digital manipulation. Artist’s have been appropriating forever so I hope I’m not in trouble.

I don’t think Vincent would have minded. After my participation in the Inspired by Rembrandt competition, organised by Radio Netherlands (to celebrate 400 years of Rembrandt), last year, let’s hope there’s an Inspired by van Gogh competition, one day and we can make Rubber Ducky famous!!

Wouldn’t that be great!
