NUDE - The book. Mixed emotions.
I now own about half a dozen publications, in which there is a little bit of me.
Other people’s work but a small contribution from me, or about me.
Exposing a little bit of me to the world, mainly in Dutch.
(About my migration experience, starting when I was 12, fifty-three years ago and other matters.)
I always knew that writing something on the topic of the pleasure of being a naturist, to hopefully be added to a book, called Nude, would not be quite what the ‘readers’ were expecting.
After all, how long have people joked about buying Playboy and Playgirl magazines for the articles?

Waiting for my copy of NUDE to arrive, was a little different to the past, when I was much busier and distracted.
I was curious to see it and checked the front door step extra often (In case the delivery person had left it there).

Now I am not sure whatto think and would be interested in other reactions.
The emphasis in the other writing, in the book seems to be on the thrill (the touch, the smell, the feel) of exposed skin and of being in its presence, in private moments.
And that’s a wonderful thing to write about and capture in pictures.

Naturists do things in the nude – in the right place, at the right time, in the right company – without the textile.
I cannot help mentioning here the ammunition used by opponents of naturism ( volleball playing, fat, ugly people, etc.).
Naturists also make babies – in the right place, a the right time, hopefully, in the right company.

If I’d wanted my writing to promote naturism, I should have submitted it to a suitable publication (_and I have had a number of these things published in TAN and Sun & Health magazines.)

I am still trying to work out, after waiting a little longer than expected, what I think of the book.

I hope that readers will relate to the experience I am trying to describe, i.e., throwing off your clothes and feeling the air, the sun, the water, the breeze, whatever…....all over.
