Don’t know why I never seen this piece before, it’s great, I love how you have portrayed the sand and water and the shadows cast are quite wonderful!
Ozcloggie
Thank you, MBartworks. Problem there is that the original picture was not mine, even though I know that the person who produced that, will approve. I know he lives near where the painting was recently on display and had hoped to see some sign that he had seen it.
(Might have to explain all that tomorrow, at Hazelhurst.) :)

i love the shadows in this!
Ozcloggie replied
Thank you, Melodious, it was well-liked at my exhibition.

I miss the beach
Ozcloggie replied
It’s winter now but even last summer, I went there less. From where I live, it’s quite a drive through Sydney’s busy streets.
Ozcloggie replied
I’ve gone to that one, less and less, in recent times. Thanks for having a look.

Wonderful painting – well done!
Ozcloggie replied
Thank you, Rachel71. That was such a different approach for me, at the time.

Fantastic painting – really beautiful
Ozcloggie replied
Thank you, Samantha.
As I’ve written before, that one was such a break-through for me, at the time. (3 ? ) years ago. It says everything I want to say, about a very favourite place and pastime. (That’s more words than I intended to write.) Thanks again for commenting.
Teresa P. Pelaez
What a fun painting Ozcloggie, wonderful, congrats.
Ozcloggie replied
Thank you, Teresa.
I have actually not beeen back there now this, or last summer. :(
Nina Rycroft
I just love this
Ozcloggie replied
Thank you for that. Just had a look at your work. You’re making me nostalgic; taking me back to reading to my own children and my pupils and fostering the love of books.

You have depicted this scene beautifully,i really like it,well done Ozcloggie.
Marilyn Brown
This image is classic, it will always remind me of you and your work.
Ozcloggie replied
Thanks Marilyn.
Was such a relaxed painting too. No huge emotional ties, ....like the square dancers of Busby West, my favourite, along with Donna and the Rembrandt Boys and my son with his guitar. Seems I guessed right that this would be the most suitable for the purposes of the RB challenge.
Wish I had some inspiration. There are a number of blank canvases standing here, since Christmas (presents) waiting to stop being so bare.
Lynda Robinson
Just discovered your work! This is beautiful.
Ozcloggie replied
Thank you, Lynda. Wasn’t there that day but this is another one that is meant to convey the feeling of relaxed, good times.

Hi Ozcloggie, I like the brush stroke in this has an impressionistic quality…Cheers AngielArtsagain
Ozcloggie replied
Thanks, Angela. That first impression of coming down the hill, on a sunny warm/hot day, to the beach!
