Rising Above by owlspook
I don’t have the words to say how I feel about all the horrors of the bushfires in Victoria that have been and are still being afflicted not only on the people who live there but also the animals except that my heart aches and sometimes I can’t stop the tears in my eyes from falling … especially especially for all the animals who lived there that had no chance to escape …
when I designed this fractal what I saw were koalas rising above the devastation below … there must be a heaven for these poor creatures .. little angel koalas …
work on this image was done during the summer of terrible fires in Australia ….
work done in Sterling2 with post work in PaintShopPro and Gimp. Best viewed large.

thank you Mary (big smile) I told Euan that they reminded me of Koalas … with all the devastation and horror in Victoria with the bushfires I had the wildlife on my mind today … so many died horribly so many hurt so bad … the title reflects my thoughts … there must be a heaven for all life and these koalas are rising up there from the devastation below … little angel koalas …

thank you sis … I really think that the koalas helped me with this image .. you know how fractals are … many times you’re not sure how they will turn out .. well this one was serendipity … I saw it and knew what I had to do … I have an affinity for animals and it is breaking my heart hearing the stories and knowing what they went through .. the horror of it … I believe with all my heart it is our responsibility to everything we can to help them .. they had no choice nor the ability to find a safe place as the firestorm came their way .. so I’m going to do all I can to help and urge others to do the same … we owe it to our cousins to help …

We had a show on tv the other night about the RSPCA rescue efforts in that area and I cried all the way through it. This is so beautiful owlspook – hope it raises lots of money for their support!
oh Helene oh my .. we don’t get anymore info about what’s happening there . guess it’s not big enough news in the US .. so many people I’ve talked to about it have no clue and sadly most of them have said things like .. geez that’s too bad .. and then that’s it … it all makes me so sad .. what’s happening to the animals and people and the plants/trees and the apathy I see amongst the people I know … I just had to do something to help .. am also hoping my image will raise some money to help … I just can’t sit back and do nothing … I am happy you like this image .. thank you for your hope and caring for our fellow travelers on this planet (big smile
