Song of the Kachina by owlspook

“In Hopi, the word qatsina means literally “life bringer”, and can be anything that exists in the natural world or cosmos. A kachina can be anything from an element, to a quality, to a natural phenomenon, to a concept." .. from Wikipedia

Mr. Bill! Way too funny! But it is gorgeous and it does have the kachina feel to it as well. What kind of paint did you use on the rocks? Acrylic? Once all my river rocks are thawed out that border my flower bed, I’m gonna start painting some of them!! You really have totally inspired me – c’mon SPRING!!

  • acrylic yes and I used a high gloss acrylic sealant on them … make sure the rocks are totally dried out before you paint on them and especially before you seal them ..

maybe one of these days I’ll put up a few in a journal entry to share … when I get the time LOL … I have all of them scanned in already …

btw you don’t have to wait for spring to paint rocks (big smile)
