Tiny Designer - Online Software

Just had to share this little online program with you all. It’s called Tiny Designer
.
I found it at “Single Function":http://singlefunction.com/tinydesigner/#more-3907 which is a great site to find unusual online programs. Here’s what they have to say about Tiny Designer
.
TinyDesigner – Web 2.0 interface style web sites are becoming more popular and appealing these days. There are lack of FREE/Online tools to create such appealing web 2.0 graphic designs. Tiny Designer fills this gap by providing a FREE Rich Internet application, which can enable designers to create web 2.0 style vector graphics designs in no time. To prove that this tool works effective, The graphics in the entire www.tinydesigner.com site is designed with Tiny Designer application alone.

Ron Eglash: African fractals, in buildings and braids

I was perusing the UltraFractal Mailing List, most of which is still Greek to me (grin) and came upon a link shared to this video Ron Eglash: African fractals, in buildings and braids that really intrigued me and got me thinking about fractals outside the normal image creating design that I so love to do (smile) … do take a little time and watch this video .. I really think you’ll enjoy it too (big smile)

New Gallery in the Works

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’m to start up a second gallery here at RB for just my photography and leave this one for all my artwork… it’s just unwieldy to deal with both in one.

Just wish RB had a better way to manage our gallery with sections instead of all lumped into one … better managing tools would be real handy …

it will take awhile to accomplish it but when I’m ready with it I’ll leave a journal entry here to invite all of you over for a look-see (big smile)

Lost in Space or New Software Keeping Me Busy (smile)....

Happy me .. was finally able to afford Xenodream AND UltraFractal 5 and guess what I’ve been up to … (grin) … been bending and twisting my lit’l ol’ owl mind working a few tutorials and figuring out the basics … oh my such potential in these programs … I’m so excited (can you tell? (grin)) … oooo more toys to play with (big smile)

however, the upshot of this is that I’ve been remiss in keeping up with all your wonderful work and comments … accept my apologies? just never enough hours in a day (sigh) .. regardless I still love ya all and your work and will pop in when I can and say hi … (big smile)

ps … was just thinking now if I could just morph into a two brained four handed creature … that way I could do…

The next time you are washing your hands and complain because the water temperature isn’t just how you like it, think about how things used to be. Here are some facts about the1500s:

These are interesting…

Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.

Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water. The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all t…

Promote Your Artwork/Photos the Easy Way

A fellow artist here on RB, Nuh Sarche posted a journal entry Get a free artistic website and promote your work… .. so I followed the link and (smile) ..

the site is call Tumblelog … go ahead and take a look … better yet go check out my blog Through Owl’s Eyes

I found it incredibly easy to set up and you can link your work here to there and back again (or anywhere else (grin)) … also you can have multiple blogs which I intend to do soon .. the one I have up right now is for my photos however I’m going to change that and use it more for a base camp blog for the other ones I’m going to do at tumblr .. separate blogs for photos, fractals, mandala/kaleidoscopes, etc. .. one can even have private blogs accessible by permission only … group blog…
