Creating Theme and Variations with Filter Forge

Theme and Variation

I was doodling around awhile back and thought I’d try doodling on the ’puter rather than with pen/paper … well I came up with this:

and what prompted all my doodling? WellI found this website:

Zentangle

and a bunch of books on Amazon, for example:

Zentangle 2

it’s been a lot of fun and I’ve started a book journal with them (smile)

So since I love creating using programs and tools on my computer and recycling my art by mutating it in as many ways as possible (grin) I took the original Zentangle Doodle “Theme”: and using Filter Forge 3 I started creating variations … 28 variations later I decided to share them with you (grin/smile) …

I happen to really like the program “Filter Forge”: http://www.filterforge.com with can be either a plugin for PhotoShop or a standalone program (how I use it)… it’s a bit expensive … twas a gift to myself awhile back … loved it so much I purchased a lifetime of of free updates …

well anyway here are the variation on the theme …. images are linked to their gallery page….

let me know which ones you like … they best viewed large to see the textures … and if you have the time and the temperament please leave me a comment on the page of the ones you like … would really appreciate hearing from you (big smile)….

enjoy
