Promote Your Artwork/Photos the Easy Way
A fellow artist here on RB, Nuh Sarche posted a journal entry Get a free artistic website and promote your work… .. so I followed the link and (smile) ..
the site is call Tumblelog ... go ahead and take a look … better yet go check out my blog Through Owl’s Eyes
I found it incredibly easy to set up and you can link your work here to there and back again (or anywhere else (grin)) ... also you can have multiple blogs which I intend to do soon .. the one I have up right now is for my photos however I’m going to change that and use it more for a base camp blog for the other ones I’m going to do at tumblr .. separate blogs for photos, fractals, mandala/kaleidoscopes, etc. .. one can even have private blogs accessible by permission only … group blogs are also possible … maybe would consider doing one with friends if anyone is interested (smile) .. the possibilities are there!

Thanks Owl! Great idea, one I’ve been “tumblin’ ” around in my mind for a while. Just need some time to actually do it!! I’ll have a look when I’m on my own compy…...at work right now covering the desk…..... playing hooky kinda! :o)

really have to thank Nuh for finding it! in fact she (think she’s a she (smile)) comes up with a lot of good ideas .. worthy to check out and perhaps add her to your watchlist (smile) ... well let me know if you decide to join and if you want to do a group blog .. don’t have idea on what or how yet but maybe you have some ideas (smile)

oh did you know you can make your image a link back here to RB? on the edit page at the bottom left “set a click-through link” and put in the addy of your image’s page here on RB …

and that you can add text to the image to name, describe it or whatever? .. leave the description of the blog more generic … perhaps describing your work in general, your artistic goals or …. just ideas I got when I saw your blog (smile)

and when you want to have a very easy way to add your redbubble work to tumblr… then go to goodies and grab the
then you just need to push SHARE IT ON TUMBLR when you are at the website with the picture, and choose the picture you want and everything is done….. :))

(big smile) you’re most welcome Nuh! and thanks for turning me onto Tumblelog (big smile) ... and thanks for the heads-up on the goodie … I also have Shareaholic, a firefox add-on that works to do the same not only for Tumblelog but also numerous other places … but now that I have this one I’ll use it when I’m only posting to Tumblelog (big smile) ...
I’m going to be changing my first blog to a center hub for more blogs on Tumblelog … will take a little time to come up to speed with it .. and also do just a little planning before I do … it’s a fantastic site and so easy to use that I’m sure I’ll be having a lot fun doing it ….... thanks again Nuh for the link and info! (big smile)
