In the Land of Kingdom Come
In the land of kingdom come
in the garden by the sea
before the faerie folk and goblin horde
had even came to be
the elder ones
now long since gone
lived near this ancient tree.
they wove their world with song and word
what can be told still can’t be heard
they left behind this puzzling piece
and it but just a third
and in due time we faeries came
to darkened lands that cried in pain
and there beneath that ancient oak
we found the qal-be-kan
and here it is we hold it still
the magic sings and brings you near
through land of dark through land of fear
so my friend it’s up to you
the task is laid it is not new
this must be done at any cost
weave back the world that’s all but lost
your heart is strong your purpose true
so hear this ancient song

I really love putting art, story and music together … when I started this one I wasn’t sure what I was going to do with it … it took me a few hours to get the story to the point I liked it and then I thought oh my what music… and when I found the piece I was sure it was what I was looking for all along … the song of the ancient ones (big smile) ....
