The full moon in April is called the Pink Moon.
As the moon of April 6 2012 peaks over the horizon in Boston, it squeezes in between skyscrapers to reveal a Pink Moon glowing like gold against a clear navy blue sky. Yet the rising of the Pink Moon lives up to its name thanks to the lingering rays of the day’s sunset which add just enough warm glow to reflect pink from highrise windows.
